I have had an incredibly boring day today. We’re slowly ‘outsourcing’ my shipping documentation duties to my shipping clerk, so right now she’s doing all of the paperwork while I watch and help where needed. I’m not exaclty 100% sure of why this is happening because other than that, I don’t have much else to do.

I don’t do order entry any more (well, occasionally when the oldBoss isn’t here), I’m doing less and less of outgoing shipping docs, and eventually I won’t do them at all. I’m still creating and printing up test documentation, but that’s not an everyday thing. Slightly sporadic and not very time consuming (depending on how much needs to get done). I think I might be doing more customer service related stuff, but I have no clue. Will I start chasing orders? Will I start contacting customers when the shit has hit? I don’t know, and frankly? I’m super bored.

I’m sure I could easily put my head down and doze off, but nope, I’d get in trouble.

I’m kind of sad. Maybe I should look more seriously at going back to school, at least part time.
