I hate being sick. When I get sick, I get whiny, and I don’t like being whiny. I’m not feeling horrible, but I’m not feeling great, either. I’ve got a cold, and when I first woke up this morning, my chest felt like it had moved into my lungs, which I don’t want. I hope I don’t have to get antibiotics or anything. Ick.

I’m at work right now, ugh. We’re making up for the week we’re getting off between Christmas & New Years, so it’s not too bad. I’m not going to be here all day, so it’s not too bad.

I dyed my hair last night, and I like how it turned out. No one’s said anything yet, so … yeah. Oh well. I like it. My hair hasn’t been this colour for a long time. I’ll post pictures if/when I take ‘em. (Which reminds me, I have to find the software disk for my webcam.) The roommate also dyed her hair blue black (as opposed to my ‘Tropic Burgandy’ - it’s looking purple right now), and I haven’t seen it yet. She’s paler than I am, so it should be quite a change.

If I’m still feeling like this tomorrow, I’m going to be calling in sick at the 2nd Job. The customers don’t need me coughing and sneezing all over their groceries, that’s for sure.

I’m heading over to a friends’ place tomorrow for dinner - they’re having a Thanksgiving dinner a week late. I’m going to make a couple of pies tonight for it - should be yummy. Someone’s making a pumpkin pie, so I’ll make an apple one and my hashbrown casserole pie. The experiment with the frozen shells worked out well, so I’m thinking with home made pastry, it’ll be AWESOME.

I have things to fax to customers, so I should probably do that before I get too involved in working on the website. I’m just happy I can listen to my mp3 player right now. It’ll make the boring … less boring.

Faxing is done. Just have to email a couple to make sure they get it.

I think I’m going to go buy some more RAM for my computer today. I got a GST Refund cheque from the gov’t earlier this week and it should cover about a gig of ram, I think. I’ve got an older stick of 512 MB ram in there, so add the faster 1 Gig stick and it should be happy. :)

Got passes from my Dad (I’ll miss this free stuff when he’s not with Global anymore) to go see Elizabeth: The Golden Age earlier this week. The critics aren’t giving it too good a rating, but I enjoyed it, even though I haven’t seen the first one, which I think I might go and rent tonight.

I’m thinking I’m going to call in sick to Job2 for tomorrow. I won’t be able to handle the Sunday + Dollar Days crowds with this cold. Uck.

Okay. Well, enough slacking (HA!). Back to work for me.
