Looks like Microsoft has a new tool out that you can choose to install with the latest version of MSN/Windows Live Messenger/Whatever you want to call it.  Okay, well, it doesn’t ‘look like’ it, because they do and I installed it here at work (oops?).

Writer seems to be a slick little program – it’ll import some of your settings as well as let you post to a variety of different blogging platforms.  My blog runs WordPress, and I think you can post to LiveJournal, Blogspot and to WordPress hosted blogs, too.

It imported the tags/categories I use on my WordPress blog, but none of the plugin features I’ve got added on (downside?)

We’ll see how this works. :)
